VISIT: Tropical World in Leeds

This is always a favourite place to go, free parking, really cheap! And family friendly with lots of local halal restaurants locally

Summon your inner explorer at Tropical World (Roundhay) – discover tumbling waterfalls, humid rainforests and pools of exotic fish in the not-so-far-away Leeds.

Surrounded by the stunning Roundhay Park, with over 700 acres of rolling parkland, lakes and woodlands, Tropical World is a perfect nature escape for a family day out. Really want to get the kids excited? Tropical World is home to many bizarre and wonderful animal species –  from the endangered cotton-top monkey at Rainforest Canopy, to the world’s longest snake species at Creature Corner and the armoured Armadillo in the Nocturnal area.

If the chance of spotting live crocodiles, monkeys, meerkats and other unusual creatures doesn’t spark the kids’ interest, we don’t know what will!

Meet exciting animal species from around the globe

Enjoy a meal with a view of the Canal Gardens at the Tropical Cafe

Animal fun for the whole family
